Life Insurance Ireland

If you live outside Ireland it is possible to arrange cover subject to a number of conditions and underwriting.

Broadly these conditions are as follows:

• The life insurance is required as security for a mortgage
• The mortgage has been provided by an Irish Lender
• The policy must equal the original term of the loan
• The sum insured cannot be greater than the original loan amount.
• All underwriting including medical examinations( if necessary- generally not required) will take place in Ireland
• You have an Irish Bank account to pay your premiums
• The policy is executed in Ireland and you can provide evidence to this effect
• It is not available for residents of the USA
